كانت لي عدة زيارات لهذا المجمع الضخم ، وفي آخر زيارة قبل أسبوعين قررت أن أصحب معي الكاميرا لأنقل لكم شيئا من الجهود الجبارة لخدمة القرآن الكريم
I visited this Complex several times but last visit I decided to take a camera with me to show you the great work
of serving Holly Quran

The complex was first opened by king Fahad in the Islamic calendar, Sofar 1405H and at that time the following first copy was produced and since then and for 23 years the complex has been producing huge amount of Qurans as reported by the following fellows: Hafs, Warsh, Kaloon, and Al-Doori and in the text (Al-Urdo). The complex prints in different translations and several languages (44 languages.)  In addition, Qurans are taped and the complex provides researches, seminars, and gifts and other services ...

زرنا المجمع في صباح الأربعاء وكانت زيارتنا في اليوم المزدحم عادة ، فكل يوم أربعاء يزداد عدد زوار المجمع . حين وصلنا البوابة تم أخذ بياناتنا ثم سمحوا لنا بالدخول إلى مبنى المجمع

We visited the complex on a Wednesday morning and as usual our visit was in a busy and crowded day. Every Wednesday the number of visitors are increased. When we reached the gate, we had to register first and then allowed us to enter the building

وجدنا في استقبالنا موظفوا العلاقات العامة ، وبدأ البرنامج بعرض فلم عن المجمع في صالتين كبيرتين في البهو .

We were welcomed by the relationship committee staff, and the program started showing a movie about the complex in two large areas

الجدير بالذكر أن المجمع يحوي مبنى الإدارة والمطابع ومبنى اللجنة العلمية وسكن الموظفين وسكن الضيافة والمطعم والمسجد ومواقف للسيارات ومبنى
المبيعات والمستودعات والمستوصف والمناطق الترفيهية لعائلات السكان ومبنى الصيانة
 

The Complex contains: a building for administration & photo copiers, a building for a scientific committee; staff apartments; guests' apartments; a restaurant; a Masjed; and Parking Lots, a building for Sales; storage; clinic; and entertainment areas for families who live in the complex, and a building  for maintenance     

بعد انتهاء العرض مشينا في ممر طويل حتى وصلنا لشرفة فسيحة تطل مباشرة على المطابع الهائلة .....
After the Show we walked in a long passage until we arrived in a wide area that we could see the giant Printing Machines


زوار المجمع أكثر من مليونين من جميع الأقطار

Two million visitors come to the complex from all countries

حينما وقفنا على الشرفة هالنا ما رأينا من مساحة وتجهيزات ومكائن المطابع الهائلة التي تنتج 160 منتجا مختلفا
انظر الجدول واحمد الله على هذه النعمة العظيمة

When we stood at the area (to see the giant machines) we were surprised to see the huge reserved land and its supplies and the huge printing machines which produced 160 different products. See the Table below and thanks Allah for this great bless

Production:

It was expected that the complex would reach its production more than 193 million copies at the end of 1425h (Feb 2005). The data of the complex from its start until 1425H (Feb 2005)

1. Complete printed Qurans  116,309,033

2. Recording Media 1,765,510

3. Translations 26,460,887

4. Chapters, ...        43,500,412

5. Sunna Books and prophet life  210,000

6. Other books 4,961,051

Total: 193,206,893

الرقم الأول مائة وستة عشر مليون نسخة !!

Qurans are stocked and ready for distributions
من مميزات المجمع : الرقابة الشديدة على النص ثم النوعية ثم النهائية
Features of Complex: Books are very carefully checked for the right texts and their qualities  

A picture for the final signature of staff which meant that the final copy was ready for distribution. 400 workers are
dedicated to check the books. They sit together at a table and copies of Qurans passed through them to make sure that Qurans contained NO Errors

كما يوجد بالمجمع مصنع للكاسيت والسيدي حيث يصنع وسجل ويطبع ويغلف الكاسيت أو السيدي داخل المجمع

Also there is a factory in the complex for tapes and CDs. They are made in the complex (the Medias) and text are
recorded. Then they packaged them. See Machines below for this goal

المبيعات
رغب كثير من المحسنين في التبرع لطباعة المصحف ، وبما أن المجمع وقف لله تعالى من الدولة فقد وضعت إدارة المجمع قسما للمبيعات لمن أراد أن يشتري نسخا ويوزعها بنفسه .

The Sales

Many believers wanted to donate to the printing Quran project , and since the complex is donated for Allah by only the State, the complex administration created a sales office for people who wanted to purchase copies and distribute them by themselves




المصحف الكبير يباع بـ 60 ريالا . وبقية المصاحف تتراوح من 10 إلى 30 ريالا ، المصحف المسموع 26 ريالا فقط .
بقي أن أقول إنه بإمكان أي شخص أن يزور المجمع في أوقات الدوام ، فقط اركب سيارة أجرة واطلب منه يوصلك للمجمع ، وزيارة موفقة .

The price of a large copy is 60 re'als while others between 30-10 re'als. The copy with sound is only 26 Re'als. The last thing is that any persons can visit the complex during working days. Take a Taxi and ask him to drop you at the Printing Quran Complex. Good luck in your visit
