يتوافد المئات من الأتراك على حديقة الحيوان في أزمير غرب تركيا يوميا في وقت آذان الفجر للوقوف أمام قفص أحد الأسود وسماعه وهو ينطق اسم الله وهو يزأر في هذا الوقت .

وقالت مصادر إعلامية أن مئات الناس يأتون يومياً وينتظرون لساعات أمام القفص لسماع الأسد وهو يزأر مردداً لفظ الجلالة ، ويلتقطون له الصور ويسجلون صوته على اسطوانات ' سي دى ' ، مشيراً إلى أن بعضهم يقوم ببيع هذه الاسطوانات مروجين أن ما يفعله الأسد يعد علامة على قرب الساعة .

وقال مدير حديقة الحيوان في تصريحات لوسائل الإعلام التركية اليوم أن هذه الظاهرة تفشت بشكل كبير

من جانبه قال مربي الأسود حجي كورجان الذي يعمل في هذه المهنة منذ 20 عاما إن الناس تتزاحم أمام قفص الأسد جولياد مما أثر على الحالة النفسية للأسود وجعلها تضطرب وتدخل في مرحلة الأزمة النفسية .

كما أشار إلى أن هناك أناسا ضخموا الأمور كثيرا لدرجة أن البعض يطلب أن يقوم بتنظيف قفص الأسد أو لمسه وهناك ايضا من يصلي أمامه .

The trainer of the Lions, Haji Korjan who worked in this field for 20 years, said that the crowd in front of the Lion Jowli'ad is causing a mental problem to other Lions.

Also, He thought that some people were exaggerating and made these things too big and they wanted to clean the cage or touch the Lion while others prayed in front of the cage.
